Hello Everyone,

This letter is my written resignation from the offices of President and North Texas Representative of Traditional Bowhunters of Texas (Tbot).  We informed everyone before the 2020 season that it would be Cori’s and my last year.  I am getting older and there are so many things we would like to do, but usually don’t because of being worn out from putting on all of our shoots.  We are still going to stay involved in archery from hunting to making some the shoots we haven’t been able to attend in the past.

It is really hard for me to walk away knowing no one has stepped up to take my place.  I have given nearly my whole life to Tbot and have really enjoyed it, but it’s time for Cori and I to have the freedom to enjoy other things in life.  I will never forget all the great friends I have acquired or the lasting memories.
Thank you to each and everyone of you.  We love you dearly.

Traditional Bowhunter’s of Texas has decided to reschedule the 27th Annual Hill Country Shootout, scheduled for April 18-19, based on recommendations by local government and the CDC. In the best interest of our members, guests and Growing Rocks Ranch we have decided to reschedule the shoot later this year. As you can imagine, the wheels were already in motion, merchandise, buckles, etc. TBoT will honor your preregistration for the new date, to be determined, or issue a refund as funds will allow. Please continue to support our organization as our nation works through this hardship.

We will reschedule the HCS at a later date
