In Memory: David Drinkard 1948-2016
David was an admired member of Traditional Bowhunters of Texas. Throughout the years, David graciously designed several logos for our t-shirts and accessories of which are proudly being worn and displayed today. TBOT extends our sincere condolences to David's family. We will miss our friend.

In Memory: Ken Denton May 12, 2013
Gone But Not Forgotten. Many of you may remember Ken as the big white haired, white teeth smile man with a big “HOWDY”, behind a vendors table at the TBOT Hill Country Shootout at Vanderpool. He was often there with vari-ous things for sale; shirts, hats, ban-danas, arrows, bows and quivers. He loved every aspect of bow and arrow and hunting with them.
As it happened to many of us, Ken got hooked on “all things bow and arrow” as a young man. For nearly sixty years he nev-er got enough of it and when the “Trad Gang” bow site came on- line he was in heaven - or at least while he was on-line talking to anyone about anything bow and arrow.
What you may not know is that Ken was a Army Veteran, he served this country well, and even though he never served in combat, I knew Ken as as a “Warrior” in another way. Ken fought off a tenacious enemy several times, until two years ago in May, at age 73 Ken lost a long fight with Cancer. I hope we all can face the end as bravely as Ken did when our time comes.
May we never forget. You are Missed Ken. Roland Jenkins
